In early 2020 the outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent corona crisis has shaken the daily lives of millions of people. Being left with uncertainty everyone had to find their way of living with this new normal. I couldn’t think of anything else that has changed our world so fundamentally within a few weeks only before. As a result of social distancing I painted this motif first on a wall in a due to the pandemic empty office building. Afterwards I painted it on canvas, because the office owner loved it. Later on I started to think about a print edition et voila some months later it’s finally there.

This special silk screen print was produced by Berlin based screen printer Mr. Bacon. He put 10 beautiful colours on white Metapaper (270g/m²) and partially added a special matt varnish. Each copy is numbered and signed by me.

Additionally, I embellished 15 pieces of this edition with spray and acrylic paint to create unique hand finished silk screen prints. For some of them I cut the masked boy out and glued him on another painted paper. This is no. 11 of them.
